Cantemos-Let's Sing! with Louie Miranda
(1-3 year olds)

Louie, the Bilingual early childhood educator and family entertainer teaches his Cantemos-
Let's Sing class at Creative Groove Studio. We are SO lucky to have him as a teacher at
Creative Groove.

Louie has been successfully conducting his classes at such organizations as the Children’s
Museum of Manhattan; the JCC in Manhattan; and privately throughout the tri-state area.
Formerly at Reebok Sports Club and Kidville.

Through song, dance, storytelling and play, children explore basic concepts of music such as
rhythm, pitch, dynamics, tempo, harmony and melody.

Using bilingual tracks from Louie’s CD’s- Fiesta Latina, Dis-n-Dat, Yellow Checker Taxi Jazz
Guitar and Animal Mix, each parent/caregiver and child will learn innovative ways to integrate
the Spanish language into their daily lives. This will include a greeting song, the names of
their body parts and how to count, along with the Spanish translations to traditional children’s
songs such as Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star; Mary Had a Little Lamb; Itsy Bitsy Spider & Wheels
on the Bus.

"Hi Sally. Both Jenna and Julia LOVE Louie's class. He is such a wonderful teacher! He is so
energetic and motivating and my girls walk out of the class singing. They sing Louie's songs
at home all the time. Jenna sees a picture of an alligator and starts singing "See you later
alligator" while tapping her legs. Every time we see a parachute they both start singing "Red
and yellow, green and blue are the colors of my parachute" and then they recite the colors in
Spanish. This is my 2nd year taking this class and this is the only class I have taken for as
long of a period. Thank you again for such a wonderful time!!
